In response to the surveys we sent out to students, staff and parents, we are launching a new program for Grades 6-12 during their regularly scheduled MOTUS groups.
This new series is called MOTUS Inspire and aims to help students to understand their God-given gifts and how to use them.
It will also help to guide their academic decisions in order to reach their goals. Included in the series will be age/grade directed career inventories, college visits, meets with adults in different careers and more.
The first part in the series will take place Thursday, Jan. 12.
Later installments of the Inspire series will feature having a round-robin with Christians from various careers come and share about how they incorporate their faith into their secular/non-secular calling. If you are interested in coming to talk to our students, please contact Dean of Education Mary Neff.
Elementary students will be exploring careers in April, which will culminate with a career day where students can dress up as their favorite career.
During the 2023-24 school year, we will be offering monthly career, college and college exploration. It will include investigating colleges, how to write a resume and much more.
